CityUHK is committed to taking part in community activities and building strong connections with local partners. With this commitment and to let more people taste the fresh milk produced by CityUHK Farm, CityUHK sponsored 1,200 boxes of milk to support the BOC Life Rogaine Charity Race 2024, organised by The Hong Kong Award for Young People on 28 January.
On 20 August 2018, CityU celebrated the naming of Hong Kong’s first and only veterinary college: Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences in collaboration with Cornell University.
CityU has named Academic 2 as “Li Dak Sum Yip Yio Chin Academic Building” in appreciation of the philanthropists' support and generous donations.
