Welcome to CityUHK! We warmly invite you to visit us in person or explore our website for a virtual tour. You will be impressed by the harmony of our ancient Chinese garden set against more contemporary artistic architecture.
Campus Access for Visitors
City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) welcomes visitors to our campus during the campus opening hours. There are two ways you may visit our campus:
- As an invited visitor. The hosting department will issue a Visitor QR code for your visit. The hosting department is responsible for their visitor(s) for the duration of the visit.
- Other visitors. Visitors may pre-register for the planned visit at least three working days in advance. The planned visit should be made within a week. They are required to present their HKID/passport with the Visitor QR code to the security staff at campus entrance for checking on the day of visit.
- Please note that canteens and facilities are not open to non-CityUHK members.

Getting Here
Situated right at the heart of Kowloon peninsula, CityUHK campus is well connected to major transportation in Hong Kong. It is an easy, quick trip to CityUHK from almost every part of the city, especially when travelling by MTR, as the University is just a 10-minute walk from Kowloon Tong Station.

Studying as a Visiting Student
Applicants who do not wish to pursue a full programme of study at the University but are interested in taking courses on a short-term basis (less than 1 academic year) may apply for admission as visiting students to take selected course(s) and be assessed as determined by the course-offering unit(s).
Students Accommodation
Living in the Student Residence is a good way to enhance self-management and interpersonal skills. Residence Masters, Residence Tutors and students live together as a community in the halls of residence. You will have opportunities to meet all kinds of people from many different cultures.
Visitors Accommodation
There are two clusters of quarters available on campus for visitors:
- Wong Fung Ling Hall (Tak Chee Yuen)
- CityUHK Lodge in Academic Exchange Building
