The Chinese Civilisation Centre, Division of Building Science and Technology and the Library have co-organised the month-long "Discovery of the Architectural and Cultural Values of Chinese Bridges Exhibition".

City University's third annual WebCourse Fair 2003 kicked off on 14 January with a virtual exhibition showcasing the use of the Internet for teaching and learning. Around 30 teaching staff members shared online how they make use of audio-visual learning packages, online quizzes, self-assessment tools and 3D animations to stimulate students' interest.

Last July, Mr Eric Cheng, Senior Lecturer in the Division of Building Science and Technology, joined the Third China Synergy Programme (CSP) for Outstanding Youth as a Group Mentor. He and a Coordinator worked with 20 mentees in the group, which was one of the 12 groups which participated in the programme.
