Staff and students at CityU will partner up for the third time with students from Mary Rose School for the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon in 2022 to promote greater social integration through sports.
Once again President Way Kuo of CityU has led a team of around 240 athletes in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon, which was held on 24 October. President Kuo has run the Hong Kong marathon with a CityU delegation for 12 consecutive years, except in 2020 because of Covid-19, exemplifying CityU’s spirit of excellence in both academics and sports.
More than 2,000 faculty members and students enjoyed a festive evening on 2 November at the annual CityU Banquet under the theme “Dream@CityU”.
