The Guarding & Crime Prevention Team is responsible for the security and enforcement of laws and regulations of the University. It supports University's operation and activities by providing a safe, secure and orderly environment for the staff and students to carry out their work and studying. Staff of the Team provides round-the-clock services which include access control, lost and found, monitoring of various security alarms/ detection systems, responding to fire and security alarms and handling emergency incidents as well as to ensure observance of the University's policies, rules and regulations. The team also provides professional security advices to users and from time to time, conducts security prevention programs to promote occupants' security awareness.
