Description

The Receiving and Despatching (R&D) Unit is responsible for delivery and collection of official mails / documents.

Service Hours

Monday to Friday:0845 - 1715
Saturday:0900 - 1200
Sunday and General Holiday:Closed

Service Charge

Postal charges for outgoing mails are borne by departments.

Regulations or Guidelines

• Advance notification (at least half a working day) is required for local by-hand services (for mail 1 kg or below). The mails should be delivered to R&D Unit before 10:30 hours in the morning session or 15:15 hours in the afternoon session. This service is subject to manpower availability.
• Departments shall provide full details of recipients, addresses and required date/time for outgoing mails before sending them to R&D Unit.
• Personal mails will not be entertained.
