FMO is responsible for providing waste management, cleaning and environmental Hygiene services on Campus, Residential Quarters and other areas ( Off-Campus premises under the name of CityUHK).
Apart from providing general cleaning services, we also provide specialized cleaning services including carpet shampooing, pest control, disposal of industrial and solid waste, waste classification and disposal of recycle wastes, cleaning of water tanks, air-conditioning filters, surface water catchment system and pest control, provision of cleaning and house-keeping services for Residential Quarters, house-keeping of classrooms and communal areas, as well as disposal of confidential papers.
The Office has been closely administering a number of service contracts aiming to ensure the services delivered by contractors are complying to the contract requirements regarding manpower and quality of work.
