PV and Solar Water-Heating |

Description
The System was built making use of 8.5 m2 PV panels of total 0.7 kW electricity output and heating up 500 litre of water to 45 oC. The PV panel is integrated with hot water pipes to generate both electricity and hot water. Through solar heat, the System generates hot water to serve all the pantries on Floors 5 to 9 as tap water for general uses. Whereas, electricity generated from the PV (polycrystalline silicon solar cells) is used to power all the EXIT signs of the building.
