Local accountancy industry explored in new CityU book

A new book titled Transcending the Bottleneck — The Hong Kong Accountancy Profession shares insights on the current situation and future prospects of the industry.
The local accountancy profession is the subject of a new book jointly published by City University of Hong Kong (CityU) Press and the Research Centre for Sustainable Hong Kong (CSHK).
During the launch of Transcending the Bottleneck – The Hong Kong Accountancy Profession on 14 September, the publication’s editors and authors, as well as industry players, put forward insights and solutions to problems facing the industry.
The book is based on a series of in-depth interview, surveys, focus groups and forums on the accountancy profession that the research team of CSHK has conducted since August 2015. It provides a systematic analysis of the current situation and future prospects of the industry.
