The Dragon Boat Team of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) won the championship in the National Day Celebration Dragon Boat Invitational Race on 8 October.

More than 20 students and staff of the CityU Dragon team participated in the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) Cup, competing against all the professional institutions in the Diamond Cup category.

Professor Way Kuo, University President, congratulated the team for its outstanding achievement and celebrated their success and teamwork at a reception.

The race, organised by the Shau Kei Wan National Dragon Boat (SKWNDB) Organization, attracted 95 teams from different industries, Government sectors and professional institutions.
