The loyalty and dedication of 262 members of staff were celebrated at the Long Service Award Ceremony 2013 on 29 October at City University of Hong Kong (CityU).
The loyalty and dedication of 262 members of staff were celebrated at the Long Service Award Ceremony 2013 on 29 October at City University of Hong Kong (CityU).
Professor Way Kuo, University President, addressed the ceremony and presented awards to 73 staff members who have served the University for 25 years. Awards were also presented to employees who have served the University for 10, 15, and 20 years respectively.
In his opening remarks, Professor Kuo extended thanks on behalf of the University and the management team for the support of these colleagues over the years. “It is the faculty and staff, those who have retired and all of you, who have made this University great,” he said.
Senior management and colleagues joined the ceremony. Professor Richard Yuen Kwok-kit of the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering and Ms Rebecca Lai Yuk-lan of Student Development Services gave speeches on behalf of their fellow awardees.
The Long Service Award Ceremony was organised by the Human Resources Office.
