The China Proper Track Society of the Students’ Union of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) staged a National Flag Raising Ceremony on 30 April, to mark the 90th Anniversary of the May Fourth Movement.

In a solemn ceremony, colleagues and students gathered at University Circle at 8:30am to witness the student flag guards raise the National Flag, the Regional Flag of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the CityU Flag as the national anthem played. Professor Way Kuo, President of CityU, Professor Paul Lam Kwan-sing, Vice-President (Student Affairs), and Professor Julia Tao Lai Po-wah, Chief-of-Staff and Acting Vice-President (Development and External Relations), attended the ceremony.
