With the theme of “Navigating Lifelong Learning”, the School of Continuing and Professional Education (SCOPE) of the City University of Hong Kong’s exhibition booth at the Education & Careers Expo 2005, from 19 to 22 February, depicts a compass, directional signs, and a lighthouse beckoning visitors navigate the route of a learner.

The booth features the best of SCOPE’s continuing education and further studies opportunities by highlighting four major types of programmes in different coloured zones that provides easy access to the latest information on Master’s degrees, top-up degrees, Progression Diplomas and day-time programmes.

“SCOPE is dedicated to promoting quality continuing education programmes to reinforce Hong Kong’s knowledge-based economy. We create the pathways for learners to make their learning experience enjoyable and meaningful. These pathways will be on display at the Expo to encourage individuals to become active lifelong learners,” said Mr Charles Wong, the Director of the School of Continuing and Professional Education of City University of Hong Kong. The exhibition offers its visitors opportunities to register for free access to seminars on languages, communication, health care, career skills and personal development.

Two Seminars will be hosted by SCOPE at the Expo on 20 February.

The Education & Careers Expo 2005 will be held in Hall 5 of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, from 19 to 22 February (Saturday to Tuesday). Opening hours: 10 am to 7 pm.  Admission is free.
