Founder of SINOTALKS?, Dr Mei Gechlik visited CityU School of Law
On 21 June 2023, Dr Mei Gechlik was invited by the School of Law, City University of Hong Kong to deliver a roundtable talk titled “Strengthening China’s ‘Soft Connectivity’ with the World: The Role of Law Schools in China’s Greater Bay Area” followed by a discussion with faculty members and students. Dr Gechlik founded SINOTALKS? after an extensive career in academia and leading policy think tanks. SINOTALKS? addresses the growing need for a trusted resource highlighting Chinese law and policy to help decision-makers around the world find strategic solutions to problems affecting China and beyond.
Dean of School of Law of City University of Hong Kong Professor Lin Feng, Professor Wang Jiangyu and Associate Dean Dr Ding Chunyan received her. The roundtable talk included a discussion about how China’s Case Guidance System can strengthen China’s “soft connectivity” with the world and what contributions of law schools in China’s Greater Bay Area can make to help strengthen the country’s “soft connectivity” while these contributions can also improve the law schools’ curriculums and related activities.

香港城市大學法律學院院長林峰教授、王江雨教授及副院長丁春艷博士接待來訪。在圓桌會議中，熊博士分析了中國案例指導制度如何加強中國與世界的“軟連通”，並於與會人士討論了大灣區的法律學院如何為加強國家與世界的“軟連通”做出貢獻。
