Congratulations to Professor Tianxiang HE for his appointment as the Vice President of The Asian Pacific Copyright Association (APCA)
On 1st September, The Asian Pacific Copyright Association (APCA) announced that Professor Tianxiang HE has been elected by the executive committee of the APCA as the Vice President for two years.
The Asian Pacific Copyright Association (APCA) was established on 15 November 2011 and currently has members from Australia, Peoples Republic of China, Fiji, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Nauru, New Zealand, Philippines, Russia, Vanuatu and Vietnam.
The objectives of APCA are to i) provide a forum for discussion on copyright and related rights; ii) promote, through legislation, dialogue and education, the maintenance and development of copyright and related rights in the Asia-Pacific Region; iii) contribute to the work of the World Intellectual Property Organisation, the World Trade Organisation, UNESCO, and other international bodies; and iv) ensure that the needs and concerns of the people of the Asia-Pacific Region are taken into consideration by the international community in all discussions and international negotiations concerning such rights.

9月1日，亞太版權(quán)協(xié)會(huì)（APCA）執(zhí)行委員會(huì)宣佈何天翔教授當(dāng)選APCA副會(huì)長(zhǎng)，任期兩年。
亞太版權(quán)協(xié)會(huì)（APCA）成立於2011年11月15日，目前的會(huì)員包括來自澳大利亞、中華人民共和國(guó)、斐濟(jì)、香港特別行政區(qū)、印尼、日本、韓國(guó)、馬來西亞、諾魯、紐西蘭、菲律賓、俄羅斯、瓦努阿圖和越南。
APCA的目標(biāo)包括以下幾點(diǎn)：
提供一個(gè)關(guān)於版權(quán)和相關(guān)權(quán)益的討論平臺(tái)；
通過立法、對(duì)話和教育，在亞太地區(qū)促進(jìn)版權(quán)和相關(guān)權(quán)益的維護(hù)和發(fā)展；
為世界智慧財(cái)產(chǎn)權(quán)組織、世界貿(mào)易組織、聯(lián)合國(guó)教科文組織以及其他在版權(quán)和相關(guān)權(quán)益領(lǐng)域活躍的國(guó)際機(jī)構(gòu)作出貢獻(xiàn)；
