Congratulations to Professor Alexander F H LOKE for his appointment as a new member of The Law Reform Commission of Hong Kong
On 28 February, the Law Reform Commission of Hong Kong (LRC) announced that Professor Alexander F H LOKE has been appointed by the Chief Executive as a new member of the LRC for three years, effective 1 March 2023.
The Law Reform Commission of Hong Kong aims to reform those aspects of the laws of Hong Kong which are referred to it by the Secretary for Justice or the Chief Justice. Members of the Commission are appointed by the Chief Executive, on the advice of the Secretary for Justice, and include academic and practising lawyers, and prominent members of the community.

法律改革委員會（法改會）於2月28日宣佈，行政長官已委任陸飛鴻教授為法改會新成員，任期三年，由2023年3月1日起生效。
香港法律改革委員會於1980年1月成立，負責研究由律政司司長或終審法院首席法官轉(zhuǎn)交該會的有關(guān)香港法律的課題，以進行改革。法改會成員由行政長官按律政司司長的意見委任，人選包括學術(shù)界人士、執(zhí)業(yè)律師和社會賢達。
