Congratulations to Dr Rimsky YUEN Kwok-keung, GBM, SC, JP
Dr Rimsky YUEN Kwok-keung, GBM, SC, JP, former Secretary for Justice of the HKSAR Government, was conferred an honorary doctorate on 5 November 2021 by City University of Hong Kong (CityU) in recognition of his significant contributions to education and the legal community.
Dr Yuen became a barrister in 1987 and was appointed Senior Counsel in 2003. He completed the LLM in Chinese and Comparative Law at CityU in 1997. Dr Yuen has held many key posts in the legal sector. He served as the Chairman of the Hong Kong Bar Association from 2007 to 2009 and was appointed as a Recorder of the Court of First Instance of the High Court of the HKSAR from 2006 to 2012. He then served as the Secretary for Justice from 2012 to 2018.

2021年11月5日，香港城市大學（以下簡稱“城大”）頒授榮譽博士學位予香港特別行政區(qū)政府前律政司司長袁國強博士，GBM，SC，JP，以表彰他對教育及法律界作出的重大貢獻。
袁博士於1987年成為大律師，並於2003年獲委任為資深大律師。1997年，他於城大取得中國法與比較法法學碩士學位。袁博士曾出任法律界多項要職，包括2007年至2009年擔任香港大律師公會主席、2006年至2012年獲委任為高等法院原訟法庭特委法官、2012年至2018年擔任香港特區(qū)政府律政司司長。
