The third seminar of the CityU Master of Laws in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution (LLMArbDR) Seminar Series 2024 was held at the CityU HK Tech 300 Co-working space in Admiralty on 18 April 2024. Mr Ben Chan, Head of Commercial Yau Lee Holdings Limited (Barrister), was invited to be the speaker who delivered the talk on “Leveraging Alternative Dispute Resolution in Commercial Dispute Management: Insights from a Party’s Perspective”. Around 50 students, alumni and members of the Hong Kong Mediation Council and the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers attended the talk.

The Seminar Series is hosted by the School of Law, CityU and co-organised by the Hong Kong Mediation Council and the Construction Dispute Resolution Committee of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.

The next seminar will be held on 30 May 2024 by Mr Mickey V. Mehta Managing Director of Crown Land Capital, and Ms Lavina M. Mehta, Director of Human Resources, Asia, Shearman and Sterling. They will speak on “Is Alternative Dispute Resolution an Effective Way of Resolving Commercial and Family Disputes”. Please stay tuned!
