Congratulations to Chair Professor Andrey Rogach and Chair Professor Chunyi Zhi, who have each been granted an RGC Senior Research Fellowship award. There are 10 Senior Research Fellow awards (each award at approximately HK$7.8M over a period of 60 months) granted in all of Hong Kong this year, across all subjects. MSE has been awarded 2 out of 10. This is a truly remarkable achievement for the MSE Department.

The RGC Research Fellow Scheme aims to provide sustained support and relief from teaching and administrative duties to exceptionally outstanding researchers at UGC-funded universities in Hong Kong, with a view to facilitating their full dedication to research and development and helping universities attract and retain research talent.
