JUPAS

JUPAS HKDSE students will apply for admission to the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (JS1210) of College of Engineering. Students will enter a major in Materials Science and Engineering which includes a broad range of Gateway Education (GE) and College/Department core courses.

Non-JUPAS

Applicants holding an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, or a General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCEAL), or a partially completed sub-degree qualification (Associate Degree or Higher Diploma) will be considered for direct admission for first-year (FY) studies.

Applicants holding an Associate Degree (AD) / Higher Diploma (HD) qualification or a partially completed Bachelor's Degree qualification may apply for admission with Advanced Standing I (ASI).

Applicants who obtained their entrance qualifications in a language other than English will need an acceptable result in an approved English qualification. Click here for details.

The minimum graduation requirement is 120 credits for the four year curriculum, 93 credits for Advanced Standing I.
