Professor Tong Yang, Chair Professor of the Department of Mathematics, has been elected as a Member of The Hong Kong Academy of Sciences.

Congratulations to our fresh graduate Miss CHAN Lok Lam (Anessa) on receiving the College Medal 2021!

Six scientists at the College of Science, City University of Hong Kong have been listed as Clarivate Analytics’ Highly Cited Researchers 2021.

A research project led by Professor Alex JEN, Lee Shau Kee Chair Professor of Materials Science, entitled “Development of Printable Perovskite Solar Cells for Transformative Clean Energy and Sustainable Society”, has been selected as one of the first eight approved projects (out of more than 190 applications) of the Green Tech Fund (GTF).

Dr. Xianpeng Hu, Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematics, has been conferred the title of RGC Research Fellow by the Research Grants Council (RGC) for his excellent research achievements.

The College of Science Orientation was held in hybrid mode on 24 August 2021, to welcome and familiarise freshmen with the College.
