Undergraduate Students

College Medal
| Objective: | To give recognition to graduating students, local or non-local, with exceptional academic achievements (GGPA/CGPA 3.8 or above upon graduation) and all-round skills. |

| No. of Award: | No more than one award each year. The awardee will receive a certificate and a cash award of HK$30,000. No award will be given if no suitable person is identified. |
| Selection: | Selection will be based on academic excellence and demonstration of well-round personal qualities. Selection interviews are to be conducted by a panel appointed by the Dean. The Panel will make recommendations for the Dean's final decision. |

Dean's Scholarship
| Objective: | To recognize outstanding full-time non-first-year students enrolled in undergraduate programmes of the College of Science. |

| No. of Award: | No more than one award will be granted each year. The value of the award shall be HK$25,000. |
| Selection: | Selection will be based on academic excellence, general knowledge about society, participation in extra-curricular activities/community services, presentation skills and analytical thinking. |

Dean's List
Where a student at the end of a semester has earned 12 credit units or more, achieved a GPA of 3.70 or greater, and not failed any course, he/she will be eligible to be placed on the Dean's List.

Sports Awards
| Objective: | To recognize full-time undergraduate & postgraduate students who have outstanding sports achievements and satisfactory academic performance. |

Mr. and Mrs. Chan Kwok Kang Memorial Scholarship
| Objective: | To recognize full-time UGC funded local student of the Global Research Enrichment and Technopreneurship (GREAT) programme who has attained the highest CGPA in his or her first year of study (including both Semester A and B). |

| Selection: | In the event that more than one student attain the same highest CGPA, an interview will be conducted by the College of Science (CSCI) to select the best candidate. |

CSCI Academic Excellence Awards
| Objective: | To recognize the outstanding performance of full-time students enrolled in Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 of the undergraduate programmes of the College of Science who have attained the highest CGPA by the end of Semester B and without failed grades in the award year. |

| No. of Award: | A total of 10 awards (to the best students of Year 1 GREAT and Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 of BScCHEM, BScCM and BScAP programmes) will be granted automatically each year. Each award recipient will receive Festival Walk Coupons worth HK$2,000. |
| Selection: | In the event that more than one student attained the same highest CGPA, the programme offering unit will be invited to confirm the best candidate based on the students’ overall performance. GREAT awardee cannot concurrently receive “The Mr. and Mrs. Chan Kwok Kang Memorial Scholarship” and this college award in the same year. |
