CityUHK’s Endowment Campaign is a dedicated and permanent source of funding that upholds the University’s educational mission. Donations will be kept intact as principals and managed as endowment funds on a perpetual basis, according to the stipulated guidelines of the University. An annual income will be generated from endowment funds at a rational interest rate guaranteed by the University, which will be used in line with the intent of donors.
An endowment fund provides a reliable, long-term funding source, ensuring sustainable income for the University even during more challenging economic periods and giving the University greater flexibility to implement priority projects. Additionally, the sustainable resources obtained from the endowment fund enable the University to continuously nurture young talent, drive innovation, and carry out pioneering research addressing the world's most pressing global challenges, benefiting the world.
