CityU Safety Policy and Responsibilities of Staff and Student

The University provides the following safety training courses online. 

The General Safety Training is mandatory for all students and staffs whereas the Laboratory Safety Training is required for people who work in laboratories.

For all staffs/students

Please login to canvas and complete the quiz.
The quiz is composed of two parts, Part A and Part B, both parts must be completed. Part A consists of five core questions and must be answered 100% correct. Part B consists of another five questions and at least three questions should be answered correct. All questions are of multiple choice type and in both Chinese and English. If your overall score is below 80%, you are required to watch the video and take the quiz again. Multiple attempts are allowed. The results will be recorded.

For laboratory personnel / people who work in laboratories

Laboratory personnel must complete all modules in Laboratory Safety Training before beginning laboratory activities. If your overall score is below 80%, you are required to watch the video and take the quiz again. Multiple attempts are allowed. The results will be recorded.
