Mr Tommy Ong is the founder and Managing Director of T.O. & Associates Consultancy Limited （臻享顧問有限公司）, a financial advisory and educational company. Mr Ong founded the current company after retiring from DBS Bank in early 2022 while he was the Head of Wealth Management Solutions for the Greater China Region. Prior to DBS Bank, Mr Ong worked for J.P. Morgan Bank and Citigroup, both in Hong Kong and Singapore for 18 years in the positions of Dealing Head in the Treasury Department and Investment Advisory Head in the MegaWealth Segment of Private Bank respectively. Mr Ong has a financial column in Hong Kong Economic Journal known as 「良言共享」 and acts as a co-host on Metro Radio financial channel program known as 「 新城點、線、面」. Mr Ong is the first Vice-President of the Tsing-ma Lion Club and a committee member of the professional training and membership committee, Hong Kong Treasury Markets Association.
He was the Asia representative of the Board of Education at ACI-Global Financial Markets Association.
Currently, he is also a member of the PolyU Entrepreneurship Investment Fund (EIF) Advisory Panel in the Digital Domain.
He graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, majored in Finance in the 1980s.
