Mr Kelvin Chiu has over 20 years of experience in the biotechnology industry. He founded Sanwa BioTech Limited in 2012 and has been serving as the Chief Executive Officer since then. Sanwa BioTech is focusing on Point-Of-Care Testing (POCT) solution development for infectious and time-critical diseases, with its proprietary microfluidic-microarray-based ALiA? platform.
Moreover, Mr Chiu serves as an advisory board member for Industrial Advisory Committee for the Biomedical Engineering Programme of Faculty of Engineering, The University of Hong Kong (HKU). He also serves as mentor for the HK Tech 300 Mentorship Scheme, City University of Hong Kong.
Mr Chiu received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from UCLA, M.Phil.’s degree in molecular biology from HKU and MBA degree from UCLA Anderson School of Management, USA.
