Mr Derek Wong has over 20 years of working experience in telecom and mobile internet industry and is now a co-founder of Assetonchain, providing blockchain, NFT and web3 solution. He is also the CTO of Jiabin Logistics Network ltd, focusing on IoT for logistics technology infrastructure setup in mainland China.
Mr Wong has solid experience in mainland China. He has held senior positions at Samsung Electronics and Nokia based in Beijing for more than 9 years, operating various mobile internet services including games, Apps store, E-learning, online maps and building up the developer ecosystem for mobile phone, SmartTV and wearable devices. Mr Wong also took a role as advisor of companies in HKSTP from 2017-2018 related to big data and digital advertising industry.
Mr Wong obtained an MBA degree and degree in Electronic Engineering from CityU in 2000 and 1988 respectively.)
