Managing Director, Consumer Mobile, CSL Mobile Limited
Mr Bruce Lam holds more than 30 years of experience in telecommunications. He joined HKT in 2011 as the Managing Director of CSL Mobile Limited, and is responsible for the overall strategic planning and corporate decisions in HKT’s wireless business, with a key focus on sales and marketing performance.
CSL Mobile is the leading provider of mobile communications and holds the widest range of radio spectrum of any mobile network operator in Hong Kong. CSL Mobile 5G service comes complete with a spectacular breed of audio-visual entertainment, riding on 5G hallmarks of ultra-high speed, massive connectivity and ultra-low latency. Under Mr Lam’s leadership, CSL Mobile commands the largest market share in Hong Kong’s telecommunications industry and maintains HKT’s leadership in the Hong Kong 5G development.
Mr Lam also served as Chief Executive Officer of Club HKT Limited between 2016 and 2019. During his tenure, The Club applied the latest big data technologies to everyday operations and collaborated with hundreds of merchant partners to become the most prominent loyalty programme in Hong Kong.
Before joining HKT, Mr Lam was the General Manager of Nokia Hong Kong and Macau and was responsible for sales & marketing, business development, communications, customer care and relationship management, as well as retail strategies. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the Communications Association of Hong Kong (CAHK), a Marketing Management Committee member of the Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA), as well as the fellow of Hong Kong Institute of Marketing (HKIM), and a columnist to the “East Weekly” and “Headline Daily” publications.
Mr Lam was also awarded as the CMO Marketer of the Year 2016 and inducted into the Year 2022 Hall of Fame at HKIM bestowed to distinguished business leaders who have achieved illustrious accomplishments in their lifelong careers, while making a significant contribution to marketing practices and the wider community at large. Moreover, Mr Lam has won numerous awards throughout the years and made Hong Kong history by taking gold for the fifth time in the prestigious HKMA Awards for Marketing Excellence scheme.
Mr Lam holds a bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Windsor in Canada.
