Dr Chau Yiu-chung graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University Mechanical Engineering, then received his MBA degree from the University of South Australia, Australia and a Ph.D. degree from System Engineering and Engineering Management Department, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, PRC.
Dr Chau is working in a consultancy firm as a Chief Consultant of Education Services. Prior to his part time consultancy services, he had been working in a global high technology company since 1988, and he has sounded experience in managing high technology products operations especially in Product Life Cycle Management as well as Productivity and Quality Improvement.
He has held lecturing positions at City University of Hong Kong and Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, PRC. He is also an Adjunct Professor and Industrial Adviser with City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, PRC. His research interests cover the Organizational Learning and Learning Organization Development and he has sounded experience in implementing the Organizational Learning and Learning Organization Strategy to reality. He is also conducting research in Industry 4.0 implementation.
Dr Chau is a member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), HK SAR; Senior member of Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE), USA; Member of Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK; Member of Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), UK; Chartered Engineer (CEng) UK EC and also a certified First Class Corporate Trainer in PRC.
