To facilitate successful grant applications and recruitment of HKPFS students, the College of Science (CSCI) held the 2024 Grants Application Sharing Sessions: Success in HKPFS and on GRF/ECS on 28 Aug 2024.

Congratulations to Professor Chun Kit Kwok, Associate Professor from the Department of Chemistry of the College of Science (CSCI), as one of the awardees of the RGC Research Fellow Scheme in 2024/25.

Research by CSCI faculty is once again recognised internationally. The research paper entitled “Which Micropollutants in Water Environments Deserve More Attention Globally?” published in Environmental Science & Technology, has been selected by the American Chemical Society as the first joint winner in the category “Critical Review” in the 2022 Environmental Science and Technology Best Paper Awards.

Professor Kenneth Leung, Professor Guangyu Zhu, and Professor Zonglong Zhu, have been awarded the Collaborative Research Fund (CRF) in 2023/24.
