After a rigorous selection process, two outstanding faculty members were selected for the College of Science Awards 2022-23. The awards are presented by Professor Chun-Sing Lee, Dean of CSCI, on the College Commencement 2023.
Both the Teaching Excellence Award and the Outstanding Young Researcher Award go to Dr. Guangyu Zhu, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry, for his exemplary teaching performance, as well as distinguished research in the development and mechanistic study of platinum anticancer drugs with a long-lasting impact.
The Outstanding Knowledge Transfer Award goes to Dr. Alex Wong, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry, for the important impacts he has demonstrated to drive innovation and economic growth through knowledge transfer in multiple industries, including agriculture, cosmetics, and drug discovery research.
