Delegation Visit by the Center for Information and Communication Studies at Fudan University

On 23 May 2025, a delegation from the Center for Information and Communication Studies at Fudan University visited the Department of Media and Communication (COM) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK).
The delegation included Prof. SUN Wei, Professor at the School of Journalism at Fudan University and Vice President; Prof. LU Ye, also a Professor at the School of Journalism and Assistant Officer; Prof. Pan Ji, Professor at the School of Journalism and Researcher; Prof. LI Mengying, Associate Professor at the School of Journalism; and Ms. LIAO Pengran, Secretary of the Center for Information and Communication Studies at Fudan University.
Prof. ZHOU Shuhua, COM Chair Professor of Communication and Media, along with Associate Professor JIANG Li, guided the delegation on a tour of the department's cutting-edge facilities. These included a 4K Video Editing Studio, a Multimedia Digital Newsroom, a 3D Virtual TV Studio, and an Advertising Design and Shooting Studio. The tour offered the delegation an insight into how COM equips its students to thrive as professional communicators.
Following the tour, the delegation participated in a meeting with COM faculty members to share their preliminary research plan in Hong Kong. They also discussed possibilities for future academic partnerships with various institutions within the Greater Bay Area.
