燈籠洲燈塔，亦稱為汲星燈塔，於1912年4月29日正式啟用亮燈，至今已有110年的歷史。俯瞰照耀廣州與香港往來通行的汲水門水域，見證過香港這座城市的歷史變遷。燈籠洲燈塔被列為香港法定古蹟。 香港城市大學邵逸夫圖書館的「燈塔古蹟保育研習實踐（LHRC）」項目組，聯合傳播與媒體學系師生，利用課餘前往前往燈籠洲古蹟建築群進行調研，探索這座燈塔建築與燈塔下發生的歷史人文故事。此部紀錄影片，特別向 「漁民之父」花維路(1918-1985)致敬，感謝他畢生為當時被放逐在主流社會漁民社群奉獻。
