About the Programme
The Summer Internship Programme (SIP) offers university students valuable internship opportunities at insurance brokerage companies or professional intermediary companies. This programme aims to give university and tertiary students a better understanding of the operation of middle and back office of the insurance industry and to provide them an early opportunity to get some hands-on experience of working in the industry, so as to facilitate their future career planning.
Successful applicants who are offered an internship in the programme will enter into an employment contract up to three consecutive months. The Government subsidizes up to 80% or $8,000 (whichever is lower) of the intern's monthly honorarium.

Eligible Applicants
- Be a resident of the HKSAR and lawfully employable in Hong Kong*; and
- Be an undergraduate or postgraduate student enrolled in a full-time accredited programme provided by a local education institution
* For non-local students, "No objection letter" issued by the HKSAR Immigration Department is required.
Duration
The SIP offers internships opportunities during the summer (June - August) for up to three months.

Application Method
Interested students should download the application form at www.instalent.org.hk. The completed application form together with supporting documents (student card, academic transcript, curriculum vitae, cover letter) should be submitted to the Vocational Training Council (VTC) by post, fax or email no later than 5:00 pm, 28 March 2025.
