Our focus is on advancing the fundamental understanding of microbial sciences and applying this knowledge to address challenges related to energy, the environment, and human health. Our work lies at the interface face of microbiology, biotechnology, and engineering.

We are currently recruiting talented and motivated students interested in pursuing a PhD in the area of microbiology and biotechnology with applications to energy and environmental challenges. The candidates should hold a bachelor's or master's degree in fields such as microbiology, microbial sciences, bioinformatics, bioengineering, biochemical engineering, environmental engineering, environmental sciences or related disciplines. Our research group is currently recruiting a number of Postdoctoral Fellows who have expertise
in the following areas:
The successful candidates will participate in a couple of new projects related to biobased chemicals or microbiome.
Candidates should have a recent Ph.D. in chemical engineering, metabolic engineering, bioengineering, microbiology, molecular biology, systems biology, bioinformatics or a related discipline. Proficient oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team are essential.
