In collaboration with Hong Kong Green Building Council and Hang Lung Properties, SEE Student Chapter organized a visiting tour to Amoy Plaza and Gala Place on 16 August 2022. The visit aims to broaden students' understanding of retro-commissioning (RCx) and pressure-independent control valve (PICV) systems.

Led by Dr. Edwin Tso, Advisor of the Student Chapter, 18 participants visited the machine rooms of Amoy Plaza and Gala Place and the cloud system of Gala Place. During the visit, representatives from Hang Lung Properties introduced how the RCx ensures the building's optimal performance and PICV controls the cool water flow in Amoy Plaza. Participants learned much practical knowledge beyond the textbooks.
