KIBO means ‘hope’ in Japanese. Lacess’s KIBO footwear brand was born with a mission to give waste new hope and life a second chance. KIBO crafts sneakers that are ‘kind to the planet and kind to your feet’. The brand uses repurposed materials, such as apple waste, leather trimmings and recycled post-consumer plastic waste, bearing sustainability in mind.
