On 21 February 2025, a delegation from the Tin Ka Ping Foundation (the Foundation) visited City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) and met with President Professor Freddy Boey. The delegation was led by the Foundation’s Chairman, Mr Tin Wing-sin, and included Dr Roy Chung, Advisory Board member; Dr Yuen Pong-yiu, Executive Chairman of the Board; Mr Tin Hing-sin, Director of the Board; and Mr Bryan Tin, Group Chief Executive Officer.

President Boey warmly welcomed the delegation and shared the University’s latest achievements and upcoming international collaboration initiatives with them. He expressed his appreciation for the Foundation’s generosity not only to CityUHK but also for the education development of Hong Kong and the Mainland.  After the meeting, the Foundation visited the exhibition “Might and Magnificence: Ceremonial Arms and Armour across Cultures” at the Indra and Harry Banga Gallery of CityUHK.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the Foundation and the University and reaffirm the Foundation's ongoing commitment to CityUHK. The meeting served as a platform to discuss the University’s achievements and future collaboration, highlighting the strong bond and shared goals between the two parties.
