The Vocal Concert of CityUHK Arts Festival - Vocal Extravaganza, was successfully held before the gales commenced of typhoon signal no.8 on 13 November 2024.
Dr. Melody SZE (Mezzo-soprano), Dr. Athene MOK (Soprano) and Mr. Jeremy LEUNG (Baritone) captivated more than 450 audiences on the beautiful Bel Canto journey. In addition to the three professional opera singers, CityUHK Choir performed a variety of choral works in different languages, including two songs about childhood, Silly Kid and Childhood, touching the audiences' hearts. The Choir also surprised the audience with Coldplay's Viva La Vida at the end of the concert !
