The eighteenth Dialogue Series with Consuls General was held on 23rd February 2023. Mrs. Klára JUR?OVá, Consul General of the Czech Republic in Hong Kong, talked with over 60 CityU students and staff on the topic of “Opportunities in the Czech Republic for Future Studies and Career Development”. Professor Raymond CHAN, Acting Vice-President (Student Affairs), also shared that a deeper understanding of the country can present novel opportunities and benefits to CityU students in his welcoming speech at the beginning of the seminar.

Mrs. JUR?OVá provided information about geography and demography of the Czech Republic, and shared various reasons for choosing the Czech Republic as a destination for future studies and career development. The audience enjoyed her introduction very much and numerous questions about further study and business opportunities in the Czech Republic were raised.

The Dialogue Series with Consuls General continues to enrich students’ global consciousness and cross-cultural understanding.
