On 12 October 2020, HSBC Prosperity Hall SPECIAL Hall Night Talk team invited Dr. Lawrence MA to talk about blockchain. Approximately 142 people attended the talk - ranging from hall residents to the general public.
During the talk, Dr. MA explained blockchain and its evolution over time. He then discussed the applications of blockchain, for instance, bitcoin. He also inspired the audience with the current blockchain challenges. Lastly, he swiftly introduced his blockchain Olympiad courses.
Towards the end of the 1-hour talk, Dr. MA answered the questions raised by many of the participants very thoroughly.
