It’s showtime for the Happening Arts Programme! The first two highlights of the programme, TAP Dance and RAP workshop were successfully held in early March 2023!

The TAP Dance Workshop was presented on 10 March 2023. Professional tap dance tutor Anthony and several tap performers staged a series of Broadway music tap dance pieces in CityU. Some simple routine was taught to the participants during the workshop session, and they all had fun learning basic techniques with fancy dancing shoes. The audience was captivated by the exhilarating vibe and rhythm of tap dance.

After that, the RAP Workshop was held a week after the TAP Dance Workshop. Local rapper Armie brought us a fantastic RAP performance of his original songs. The audience was engaged in his energetic performance and enjoyed the rap music together. Armie also shared many of his experiences and ideas during the workshop session, giving our participants a meaningful and exciting afternoon.
