The tenth Dialogue Series with Consuls General was held on 11 March 2021. Ms. Elizabeth WARD, Australian Consul-General to Hong Kong and Macau, talked with over 70 CityU students and staff on the topic of “Opportunities in Australia for Future Studies and Career Development” via Zoom. Professor Raymond CHAN, Vice-President (Student Affairs), delivered a welcoming speech at the beginning of the seminar.

Ms. WARD discussed various reasons for choosing Australia as a destination for future studies and career development, and shared how she has become the Australian Consul-General to Hong Kong and Macau. The audience enjoyed her introduction very much and raised numerous questions about studying and working in Australia.

The Dialogue Series with Consuls General continues to enrich students’ global consciousness and cross-cultural understanding.
