The eleventh Dialogue Series with Consuls General was held on 31 March 2021. Mr. Peyami KALYONCU, Consul-General of Turkey in Hong Kong, talked with over 70 CityU students and staff on the topic of “Opportunities in Turkey for Future Studies and Career Development” via Zoom. Professor Raymond CHAN, Vice-President (Student Affairs), delivered a welcoming speech at the beginning of the seminar.
Mr. KALYONCU discussed various reasons for choosing Turkey as a destination for future studies and career development, and shared his experience in Hong Kong since he became the Consul-General. The audience enjoyed his introduction very much and raised numerous questions about studying and working in Turkey.
The Dialogue Series with Consuls General continues to enrich students’ global consciousness and cross-cultural understanding.
