The thirteenth Dialogue Series with Consuls General was held on 18 November 2021. Mr. Karl ERNST, Austrian Consul General to Hong Kong and Macao, talked with over 130 CityU students and staff on the topic of “Opportunities in Austria for Future Studies and Career Development” via Zoom. Professor Raymond CHAN, Vice-President (Student Affairs), delivered a welcoming speech at the beginning of the seminar.

Mr. ERNST discussed various reasons for choosing Austria as a destination for future studies and career development, and shared Austria’s recent development in different aspects. The audience enjoyed his introduction very much and raised numerous questions about culture and career opportunities in Austria.

The Dialogue Series with Consuls General continues to enrich students’ global consciousness and cross-cultural understanding.
