Master mention Droit international, parcours-type <<Global Business Law and Governance>>
CityUHK School of Law has signed an agreement with University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris 1) on the operation of a joint master’s programme, which is for selected CityUHK LLM students, final-year JD students, and LLMArbDR students who have a law degree, and Paris 1 master’s students.
Participating CityUHK students will spend the Spring Semester (January to April) at Paris 1 and other semester(s) at CityUHK. During the term at Paris 1, they will take a total of 30 ECTS, which consists of five courses chosen from International Trade Law and Litigation, International Investment Law, International Commercial Litigation, International Arbitration, International Contracts, International Economic Law: Current Issues, Introduction to French and European Law, International and European Competition Law, Environmental Issues in Global Economic Law, EU as a Global Actor and the compulsory Dissertation or Internship course. CityUHK and Paris 1 will recognise the courses that the students have completed at the other university. Students will obtain Master mention Droit international, parcours-type <<Global Business Law and Governance>> from Paris 1 as well as a degree from CityUHK upon fulfilment of all requirements of Paris 1 and CityUHK.
Participating Paris 1 students will be admitted to the CityUHK LLM programme. They will spend the Fall Semester (late August to December) at CityUHK and the other semester(s) at Paris 1.

Note:
CityUHK LLMArbDR students with a law degree are required to complete at least 15 credits including the two required courses* satisfactorily in semester A and obtain a minimum CGPA of 2.00 before studying in Paris 1 University. (Note: The programme reserves the right to rescind the offer if students failed to achieve the requirements.)
*LW6401 Dispute Resolution in Theory & Practice (3 credit units); and
LW6405 Arbitration Law (3 credit units)
