Director, Professor Wang Jiangyu was invited to give a speech on "The New Situation of the
Shipping, Port, and Maritime Industries and Their Future.” (《新形勢下船舶、港口、航運產(chǎn)業(yè)及
未來》 Starting from an analysis of the nature of the international economic order and international
economic law after World War II, Professor Wang centered his lecture on the geopolitical changes
and the reshaping of international economic rules. He highlighted various factors that should be
considered in handling international relations. Additionally, through a dynamic perspective,
Professor Wang analyzed several major global events in the context of the world's situation, trade
barriers facing China's shipbuilding industry, and discussed the impact of the current situation on
international trade, shipping, and the shipbuilding industry. He also proposed ideas and suggestions
for coping with these challenges.
