During my university years, I was provided many opportunities to do research under supervision of different professors. Every supervisor that I have met in SEE is very helpful, always guide me through the research process, and provide me a lot of valuable feedback. It had broadened my horizon, provided me a better view in the research field, and help me to improve my thinking skills. This raises my interest in doing research in the future. I find it enjoyable when doing research as it keeps my mind active by learning new knowledge and solving problems in different situations. Also, it helps me to improve my time management skills and multi-tasking skills. Furthermore, when working in the lab, I was also able to gain more hands-on experience. I find it fascinating when I was able to apply the theoretical and practical knowledge that I learned from the courses in SEE into the research. Personally, I’m always curious about how things work and have the urges to find out answers. My experience in working with different supervisors in SEE, from computer simulations to lab experiments to field measurement, are very valuable to me.
