Students taking the undergraduate course, SEE3103 Energy Efficiency for Buildings, offered by the School participated in the visit to Hong Kong Science Park Phase 3 on 13 November 2015.

Hong Kong Science Park Phase 3 provides an exciting home for technology start-ups and giants alike. Green technology is one of our key technology clusters, and Phase 3, new eco-friendly development in the Science Park, exemplifies the commitment to a sustainable future. The new development provides a dedicated facility for nurturing environmental and renewable energy technologies. As a green hub, Phase 3 will offer the 150 businesses located there one of the best R&D eco-systems in the region for developing and commercialising their products.

The students learnt the green building technologies and energy saving measures in renewable energy technologies adopted in the new development.
