SEE PhD Student won the Best Presenter Award of IEEE SCEMS 2023 in Hangzhou, China
Congratulations to Mr. Yong Chen, PhD student of Prof. Chunhua Liu, Professor, School of Energy and Environment, for receiving the award of best presenter for the paper titled “Predictive Control of Five-leg Inverter Driving Dual PMSMs for Overcurrent Suppression” in 2023 IEEE 6th Student Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems (IEEE SCEMS 2023). The IEEE SCEMS provides an international forum for students, youth researchers, and scientists to present their latest R&D achievements and to exchange information and experiences, in the field of electric machines and systems, including electric machines of all types and all aspects, power systems, power electronic converters, motion control, electrical drives, as well as application systems.
Mr. Chen gave an excellent oral presentation of his work in IEEE SCEMS 2023 in Huzhou, China on 8 December 2023. Also, the award serves as a testament to the meticulous research and innovative spirit of Prof. Liu’s group.
